A New Space for Discovery
After several weeks of renovation, we were excited to open our brand-new Science Room at the start of the new school year.
Transforming the space took time, planning and a great deal of work. A special thank you goes to Fabri and Nemi, who did a fantastic job managing the renovation and bringing our plans to life.
The result is a dedicated space where our students can explore scientific questions, experiment, observe and discover connections for themselves.
Seeing what the room looked like before — and what it has become — makes the transformation even more special.

A New School Year Begins
After all the preparations, the moment we had been waiting for finally arrived: the first day of school.
Suddenly, backpacks were back in the cloakrooms, voices filled the corridors and our classrooms came to life again. Friends were reunited after the summer, teachers welcomed their classes back, and new children and families experienced their first moments at KIBS.
For some children, it meant returning to familiar classrooms, friends and routines. For others, it was their very first day with us.
New beginnings bring excitement and curiosity, but sometimes also a little uncertainty. That is why the first days of school are about more than simply settling back into routines. They are about reconnecting, getting to know one another, building new relationships and, above all, feeling welcome and a sense of belonging.
And just like that, KIBS was full of life again.

A Very Special Start to Grade 1
The first day of Grade 1 is an important milestone. A new chapter begins — with new classrooms, new routines and the first steps into Primary.
We wanted our new Grade 1 families to share in this important morning too, so parents were invited to join their children for breakfast at KIBS. It gave everyone time to arrive, get to know one another and begin this new chapter together.
It was a warm and personal way to start the school year — and a reminder that a new beginning at KIBS is not only about the children. Their families are part of the journey from the very beginning.

Starting the Year Together
A new school year also marks a new beginning in our partnership with families.
In August, we welcomed parents from Daycare, Kindergarten and Primary to our Parents’ Evenings. These evenings give us the opportunity to meet or reconnect and look ahead to the year together — from everyday routines and learning to the many experiences that make up life at KIBS.
Just as important is the opportunity to connect personally. When school and families communicate openly, know one another and work together, we create a strong and supportive environment around our children.
And in true KIBS spirit, there was also time for parents to experience a little of school life for themselves.

Ready for What Comes Next
The children were back, our families had been welcomed into the new school year, and new spaces were ready to be explored. KIBS was full of life once again.
A new school year had begun — and with it, many new stories, experiences and shared moments still to come.
